Barn Dance - Sept 20th 2008

Over 60 Parents, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Explorers from the Group enjoyed an evening of music and dancing at the Barn Dance. The dance was held at the 8th Worcester's hut instead of our own as it is larger and allowed space for tables as well as a large dance floor. A fine Ploughman's supper was provided along with the ever-popular "Pudding Club" which provided a varied array of deserts. Thanks go to all who attended and all who organised this fun event.

Goodbye Russ, hello Darren - Aug 1st 2008

Russ Moseley has stepped down from Scout Leader to Assistant Scout Leader from 1st August. The position of Scout Leader is being taken by Darren Hill. Darren was once a Scout at the 5th and has been involved with the Scout Fellowship for many years. Many thanks to Russ for his years as SL and hopefully he won't get any funny ideas and try and turn us into Air Scouts (he's joined the RAF).
